FIELD: wear resistance increasing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of increasing wear resistance of carbide cutting tools by changing the composition and structure of the tools surface layers and may be used to increase tool mechanical and corrosion-mechanical wear resistance. Method includes pre-temperature carburizing the products, then the products surface diffusion saturation is performed in a fusible lead-bismuth melt containing dissolved titanium, then the products diffusion saturation is performed in lead-bismuth melt containing dissolved nickel and copper in equal proportions and in quantity of 15-20% total melt mass at a temperature of 1000 to 1500°C for 120-300 minutes.
EFFECT: invention provides possibility to increase wear resistance and service life of products made of hard “ВК, ТК, ТТК” alloys, as well as to increace technological process efficiency.
