SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to options of an induction heating unit for aerosol generation from aerosol forming liquid and an aerosol generating product for use with an aerosol generating device. The induction heating unit for aerosol generation from aerosol forming liquid contains an annular liquid-retaining element for retention and transfer of aerosol forming liquid. An annular susceptor element is coaxially located on an end surface in an axial direction of the retaining element for heating of aerosol forming liquid inside the retaining element. The susceptor element contains inductively heated susceptor material localized exclusively inside an inner annular part having outer radial extension of maximum 50 percent of outer radial extension of the retaining element.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of capillary transfer of liquid through a retaining element due to localization of heating and preliminary isolation of bubbles.
