FIELD: dosimetry.

SUBSTANCE: method for measuring the dose rate of pulsed bremsstrahlung with a gamma radiation dosimeter with a Geiger-Muller counter by measuring the dose rate from a controlled source at the points of radiation monitoring comprises the steps of first measuring the dependence of the dosimeter readings on the dose rate of a controlled source of pulsed bremsstrahlung, determining the power dose corresponding to the "plateau" of the obtained dependence, at which the dosimeter readings do not change with increasing dose rate, and calculate the corrected value of the dose rate of pulsed radiation by the formula

where: - corrected dose rate of pulsed radiation, - dose rate of pulsed radiation obtained as a result of direct measurements with a dosimeter, - dose rate of pulsed radiation in the "plateau" area.

EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a method for measuring the dose rate of pulsed bremsstrahlung with a pulse duration less than the dead time of the used dosimetric device with a Geiger-Muller counter, in which it is possible to measure the dose rate in the range from 0 to double with an additional error of no more than 15%.
