FIELD: security system; physics.

SUBSTANCE: method of measuring parameters of ionising radiation involves steps of measuring, using four Geiger-Muller counters, ionising radiation, wherein gamma-radiation detection is carried out using four Geiger-Muller counters SBM-20, where voltage of 400 B from a high-voltage converter is applied on each counter, voltage converter implements number-pulse voltage regulation method without using feedback at high voltage, when particles pass through sensitive volume of SUM a current pulse occurs that leads to voltage slump on electrodes of SUM, voltage drop is amplified by a preamplifier, transformed into a positive electric pulse and is supplied to input of microcontroller, process takes place in each channel independently, by presence of pulses, which come in all channels is determined by number of connected SUM and chosen required count, calculated for selected time counting pulses are corrected with due allowance for load characteristic of SUM, then corrected pulse number is converted in dose rate in mcSv/h and displayed on screen device, when cumulative dose counting mode, obtained value is multiplied by dose rate measurement time and stored in memory cell and further is summed up with following value measured dose and so to disable counting cumulative dose, circuit controls availability of supply voltage and in case of sudden failure or reduction of last obtained value dose is stored in nonvolatile memory.

EFFECT: high accuracy of measurement of parameters of ionising radiation.
