FIELD: dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: ceramic block for tooth restoration, subjected to pre-sintering, its manufacturing method, and the use are proposed. The ceramic block subjected to pre-sintering contains a ceramic product subjected to pre-sintering, consisting of following components, wt.%: SiO2 55-85; Li2O 10-25; ZrO2 0-10; Al2O3 0.3-8; La2O3 0-7%; ZnO 0.1-5; K2O 0.1-10; GeO2 0.1-7; germ-forming substance 0.5-8; coloring substance 0-10, and other additives 0-15. Pre-sintered material is non-transparent, contains an amorphous phase, and has Vickers hardness of 0.5-2 GPa. For the production of the specified product, at least two matrix glass powders are prepared, which differ by transparency and/or color; the specified glass powders are placed to a mold in an order of transparency and/or color gradient, and compression molding is carried out to obtain a matrix glass product, which is pre-sintered in vacuum conditions, wherein a sintering temperature is 470-520°C, with exposure for 20-240 minutes. Due to the fact that hardness of the claimed pre-sintered ceramic material is significantly lower than hardness of the ceramic block containing a crystal phase of lithium metasilicate, the ceramic block subjected to pre-sintering can be processed using dry mechanical processing and also using wet mechanical processing to made a mechanically processed mold for tooth restoration. After mechanical processing, sealing sintering of the block is carried out at a temperature of 800-1100°C.

EFFECT: obtainment of a pre-sintered ceramic block for tooth restoration.
