FIELD: building materials; road surfaces.

SUBSTANCE: method consists of mechanical processing of crumb rubber by means of a frictional effect on it in the process of moving the roll, while ensuring a uniform supply of crushed rubber crumb along the entire length of the roll. Additional grinding of rubber crumb uses a conical grinder with an internal male profiled cone. The conical or toroidal housing enclosing the conical grinder is made with a cooling system, that is, its working surface is cooled by means of spiral pipes and a refrigerant. The device contains rolls placed in the shredder body, and the shredder is connected to the body of a conical or toroidal female conical shredder with an internal conical male cone, and in the upper part of which notches are made along the generatrix of the cone, and the conical or toroidal female body of the conical shredder is made with a cooling system, that is, its working surface cooled by means of spiral pipes and refrigerant. The effect of the proposed group of inventions is increased energy efficiency of the rubber crumb grinding process by eliminating the individual adjustment of gaps in the roller-plate friction pair.

EFFECT: accelerating and improving the quality of the resulting rubber powder and simplifying the design as a whole.
