FIELD: low-freezing liquids based on mineral salts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-freezing liquids based on mineral salts and can be used as a fire extinguishing liquid for extinguishing fires in closed and open spaces under conditions of negative ambient temperatures. The low-temperature water-based fire extinguishing composition contains a film-forming additive based on calcium chloride, the mass fraction of calcium chloride is 94%, which reduces the freezing point of the fire extinguishing composition, which additionally includes isopropanol in the following ratio, % by weight: calcium chloride 32-33, isopropanol 2- 3, with water being the rest.
EFFECT: obtaining a low-freezing fire extinguishing composition suitable for fire extinguishing in conditions of negative ambient temperatures up to -60°C and in accordance with the requirements for extinguishing fire and preventing re-ignition.
