FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neonatology, can be used to diagnose stress in the early neonatal period. For this, continuous monitoring of electrodermal activity is carried out for three hours by recording skin conduction signals. Then, the indicator of the cumulative effect of stress DIS is determined according to the intensity of stress stimuli for the monitoring period. The intensity of stress stimuli is determined by averaging the frequency values of skin conductance fluctuations for 1 minute and selecting among them values that exceed the boundary value equal to 0.11 peak/s. The indicator of the cumulative effect of stress is calculated according to the developed formula. Additionally, the level of lactate in capillary blood is determined. Stress is diagnosed when the value of the specified DIS indicator is more than 5.52 convertional units and the level of lactate in capillary blood is more than 5.2 mmol/l.
EFFECT: invention provides an opportunity to accurately and objectively predict changes in the state in this category of patients in the absence of clinical manifestations of pathological conditions.
