It is intended to determine the blood hematocrit (the volume of red blood cells in the blood) during separation of blood by centrifugation, which in turn is used for cytoplasmapheresis Hematocrit is determined during separation of blood on an automatic cytoplasmapheresis apparatus. To do this, blood is fed into the centrifuge bell of the automatic cytoplasmapheresis apparatus, the total volume of centrifuged blood in the bell is determined. For this, a module calculating the volume of blood pumped into the bell is used, which receives data on the counted pump revolutions from the encoder. The appearance of the erythrocyte layer in the bell is determined using a transparency sensor aimed at the fixed erythrocyte volume point and the transparency change evaluation module, the value of the erythrocyte volume in the bell is obtained, and hematocrit is calculated using the hematocrit control module, according to the formula: HST=Vrbc/V⋅ 100%, where HCT is the hematocrit value; Vrbc - the value of the erythrocyte volume in the bell; V is the total volume of centrifuged blood pumped into the bell.
