FIELD: devices for material grinding.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal disc grinder is proposed, comprising oppositely rotating upper and lower discs, and a spreader in the centre. On the working surfaces of the discs, curvilinear ribs of rectangular cross section are fixed in the form of a spiral, twisted in opposite directions with a constant vertical manufacturing clearance between them. On the side of the working surface of the curvilinear ribs in the lower disk, a groove of rectangular cross section is made with a width decreasing from the centre of the disks to their periphery. The side curved wall of the groove coincides with the working surface of the curved rib, and the width of the groove in any cross section exceeds the vertical distance from the bottom surface of the groove to the upper end of the curved rib, and the height of the curved rib on the lower disk decreases uniformly from the centre to the periphery in proportion to the decrease in the width of the groove.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of the grinding process.
