FIELD: analysis.

SUBSTANCE: invention is used for elemental express analysis of human hair by laser-induced plasma-emission spectroscopy. A device for elemental express analysis of human hair by laser-induced plasma-emission spectroscopy includes a spectrometer with excitation of an emitting plasma torch ejected from a surface of an analyzed sample by laser pulses and a device for sampling hair. In this case, as the spectrometer operating according to a technology of laser-induced plasma-emission spectroscopy, a manual portable analyzer is used, intended for analysis of metals and rock formations, and, as the device for sampling analyzed hair, the device made of three plates is used, attached to a bunch of hair on the occipital part of the head, so that a section of the bundle of hair, exposed to input of a laser beam, is located on an outer surface of a middle plate supporting the bundle of hair and protecting the scalp from a negative impact of laser radiation in case of an abnormal operation mode of the laser.

EFFECT: provision of a possibility of elemental analysis of human hair in an express mode in non-laboratory workshop/field conditions.
