FIELD: cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to diagnose chronic heart failure development by centrifuging a patient's blood sample, measuring the dynamic surface tension of blood plasma and analyzing the results. The dynamic surface tension of blood plasma is measured at an adsorption time of 600 s using the hanging drop method, followed by determination of the tangent of the tensiometric curve slope using PAT-2P tensiometer software. After that, the concentration of low molecular weight compounds in blood plasma is calculated according to the formula

where CNMS is the concentration of low molecular weight compounds in blood plasma, mmol/l; λ0 - tangent of the slope of the tensiometric curve, N⋅m-1 with-1/2; DNMS — average diffusion coefficient equal to 3 m2⋅ with-1; T is the temperature of the medium, K; R is universal gas constant, J/(mol⋅ K). When the C value of the NMS is equal to 44.2 mmol/l and below, the development of chronic heart failure is diagnosed.
EFFECT: possibility of diagnosing chronic heart failure development in the early stages of the disease due to the high sensitivity and increased reliability of the method by determining the concentration of low molecular weight compounds in blood plasma.
