FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for controlling the filling levels of a plurality of tanks located on a vessel. The tanks are connected with the possibility of transferring liquid between each other. The method contains stages at which (7) the initial state of the tanks is provided, (8) the target state is determined, which determines the corresponding final filling levels of the mentioned tanks. Next, a fluid transfer scenario is determined (9), and the transfer scenario defines one or more fluid flows that must be transferred between the tanks during the transfer period to transition from the initial state to the target state of the tanks. Then the probability of damage (10) to the tanks during the execution of the mentioned transmission scenario, depending on the successive levels of filling of the tanks during the transmission period is calculated. Next, the liquid is transferred (13) between the tanks in accordance with the mentioned transfer scenario, if the probability of damage to the tanks meets the acceptance criterion.
EFFECT: limiting the risks associated with the movement of liquid transported by a vessel containing many partially filled tanks by sea.
