FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary expertise, namely to the method for testing sheep and goat milk for brucellosis. The method for rapid diagnosis of brucellosis in sheep and goat milk includes the formulation of a ring reaction involving the use of Florinsky’s serological test tubes for control samples in a dose of 2 ml of milk from a known healthy animal and tested samples of a mixture of milk from a healthy animal in an amount of 2 ml with positive brucellosis serum, placing them in a thermostat or a water bath at a temperature of 37-38°C, keeping at room temperature and visual accounting of the reaction results, and previously, raw milk is checked for acidity, if the acidity of goat milk corresponds to 14°T, and the acidity of sheep's milk is 25±1°T, then a ring reaction is performed. Positive brucellosis serum in a dose of no more than 0.2 ml is added to Florinsky’s serological test tubes with tested milk samples, placed in a thermostat or a water bath for 30 minutes, kept at room temperature for no more than 15 minutes and the results of the reaction are taken into account.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the accuracy of diagnosing brucellosis in the milk of sheep and goats while reducing the time for conducting a ring reaction.
