SUBSTANCE: catheter is inserted into the radial artery. Under x-ray control, the branches of the left gastric artery are determined, which supply the part of the stomach responsible for the production of the ghrelin hormone. The introduction of embolizing capsules begins with a diameter of 400–450 microns from the extreme upper branch of the artery. Then, the lowermost branch of the artery is embolized, after which the middle branches are sequentially embolized. In this case, the catheter is inserted into each branch to a depth of 4–6 mm.

EFFECT: method provides increased therapeutic effect, reduced risk of complications due to more accurate detection of gastric artery branches, reduced area of tissue ischemia, it reduces the probability of pain in the upper abdomen, the severity of nausea, and reduces the length of stay in the hospital.
