FIELD: nuclear production.
SUBSTANCE: provide a control method for a pressurized water nuclear reactor that can simultaneously consider and balance a large number of control targets. The control of a pressurized water nuclear reactor (2), containing a core (6) of the reactor and a circuit (10) for cooling the core (6) of the reactor, in which the reactor coolant is located. The state of the reactor is characterized by a number of measurable state variables, and the reactivity of the reactor core is regulated by a number of control variables and is affected by the reactor poisoning. For a given time-dependent trajectory (Ta) of the control variables, the corresponding trajectories (Ts) for the state variables are predicted based on the measured current values of the state variables, the calculated poisoning values, and the reactivity balance equation. The method includes iteratively considering a large number of randomly changing possible trajectories (Ta) of the control variables for a future time interval. Each trajectory (Ta) of the control variables is assigned a Q-factor (Σ), taking into account the values of weighting factors or penalties for a number of events. The trajectory (Ta) of the control variables is chosen so that the Q-factor (Σ) has a local extremum; and move the relevant executive bodies accordingly.
