FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing pore-containing granulate, which is used as an additive in the method for producing pore-containing artificial stone. The method for producing a porous granulate comprises the following steps: a) production of a foamed mass using sand, a hydraulic binder, a foaming agent and water, b) pouring the foamed mass into a mold, c) partial curing of the mass during the first period of time at atmospheric pressure to form a raw block having a first target strength, and d) removing the raw block from the mold, wherein the method includes additional steps: e) dividing the raw block into at least two subblocks, f) further curing the subblocks for a second period of time at atmospheric pressure until reaching the second target strength. The first curing time period is shorter than the second curing time period. After a second curing period at atmospheric pressure, g) subblock breaking is carried out to form a pore-containing granulate with the desired particle size distribution.
EFFECT: reduction in the rejection of the resulting granulate, by reducing the content of a low fraction of small grains - breakage.
