METHOD FOR TREATING BACK PAIN BY ACTIVATING POSTURAL MUSCLES Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2792537 C1

FIELD: medicine; neurology; restorative medicine; pediatrics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to treat back pain. The invention can be used in health care institutions providing medical and medico-social assistance to children and adults, as well as in sports organizations to increase the effectiveness of training. A complex of exercises is carried out, consisting of three stages with a gradual complication of exercises depending on the level of physical condition of each patient or athlete. At the first stage, classes are necessarily carried out, starting with the relaxation phase in the instability system in combination with exercises aimed at activating the patterns of the scapula and pelvis with the transfer of part of the weight to the balancing equipment. Gradually the second stage begins and exercises that require higher coordination and strength with partial reliance on balancing equipment are performed. At the third stage, exercises of increased complexity are performed without additional support or with support from two fitballs.

EFFECT: method provides increased efficiency of back pain treatment by activating postural muscles and reducing pathological activity of phasic muscles, increasing mobility and muscle control.
