FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of separation of emulsions by filtration, in particular to the field of water purification from emulsified oil-oil products and organic substances. A distinctive feature of the method is that filtration is carried out sequentially through three stages of purification, while in the device of the first stage, filtration is performed through a layer of filtering granular material with a fraction of 1.5-3.0 mm, in the device of the second stage through a layer of filtering granular material with a fraction of 0.7-1.7 mm, in the device of the third stage through a layer of filtering granular material with a fraction of 0.1-1.0 mm. Moreover, the filtering material is loaded into vertical apparatuses at 30-60% of the height of the device. The filter material load is regenerated by washing with purified water in the opposite direction at a speed that allows creating a mode of soaring and fluidization. The device of the third stage in the upper part of the side surface is made with an expansion in diameter by 10-20% of the diameter of the main part of the device by a length of 10-20% of the height of the device.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the process of separation of emulsions and water purification.
