FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to compositions for delivering RNA to target tissues after administration. A composition for delivering RNA to target cells or tissues is proposed, comprising a plurality of RNA particles, each particle comprising RNA and one or more components that combine with RNA to form RNA particles, where polysarcosine is conjugated with one or several components, and one or more components that are combined with RNA to form particles contain one or more lipids or lipid-like materials. Another option of the said composition is also provided, wherein each particle comprises RNA, a cationic or cationically ionizable lipid or lipid-like material, and a polysarcosine-lipid conjugate or a polysarcosine-lipid-like material conjugate. Also the methods for delivering RNA to cells of a subject and delivering a therapeutic peptide or protein to a subject are disclosed, wherein the RNA encodes a therapeutic peptide or protein, comprising administering of the said composition to the subject. Other options of a method for treating or preventing a disease or disorder in a subject are provided, comprising administering of the said composition to the subject, delivery of the RNA to the subject's cells is beneficial in treating or preventing the disease or disorder, or the RNA encodes a therapeutic peptide or protein.
EFFECT: invention provides increased efficiency of targeting and safety of RNA delivery to target cells.
