FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: subnetwork of a mobile communication system contains a macro-cell base station and a set of small cell base stations, each of which has either a direct connection to the macro-cell base station or a connection to the macro-cell base station via one or several other small cell base stations. The macro-cell base station is made with the possibility of setting of UE device having RRC connection to the macro-cell base station, using information about suitable small cell base stations, for provision of UE device with a possibility of autonomous switching between small cell base stations. The macro-cell base station is made with the possibility of setting of small cell base stations.
EFFECT: provision of UE switching between small cell base stations.
