METHOD OF CORRECTING SOMATIC DYSFUNCTION OF A LIMB JOINT Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2808545 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method of treating pain syndrome due to somatic dysfunction of a limb joint (LJ) includes diagnosing the LJ dysfunction and performing medical manipulations. Manipulations are carried out synchronously with the phases of the patient’s diaphragmatic breathing, and the duration of these phases is set by the doctor based on the result of the tactile response of the tissues of the limb joint to the manipulation; the diagnosis of dysfunction is performed on diaphragmatic inhalation/exhalation and the fixed dysfunctional position of the restriction in the SC is determined, and the manipulations include three stages. At the first stage the doctor wraps one hand around the perimeter of the joint space to fix the proximal part of the joint along its anterior, internal and external surfaces, and the other hand around the distal part of the joint along its posterior, internal and external surfaces; at the second stage — during the exhalation phase, the proximal section of the SC is transferred to internal rotation, and the distal section is transferred to external rotation, and diaphragmatic exhalation is delayed until tissue relaxation in the SC is detected; at the third stage — during the inhalation phase, the proximal section of the joint is transferred to external rotation, and the distal section of the joint is transferred to internal rotation, corresponding to the specified position of restriction of the movement of the joint, and the diaphragmatic inspiration is delayed until relaxation of the tissues of the joint is detected.

EFFECT: method provides expanded functionality and increased efficiency by taking into account the physiological mechanisms of neurological regulation.
