SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to radiology. In patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICMP), preoperative values of the end-diastolic volume of the left ventricle (EDV), end-systolic volume of the left ventricle (ESV) and the mass of viable myocardium relative to the total mass of the myocardium of the left ventricle (LV) are determined using magnetic resonance imaging of the heart with paramagnetic contrast enhancement (MRI with PKU). Next, the original formula is used to predict the development of early cardiovascular complications of surgical intervention. At R≥0.5 the development of complications in the early postoperative period is predicted.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict with high degree of accuracy the development of early postoperative cardiovascular complications in patients with ICMP after complex surgical intervention.
