FIELD: medicine; cardiac surgery; cardiology; radiation diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the effectiveness of the direct revascularization procedure. In combination with cardiac MRI, echocardiography (EchoCG) is performed, and along with the depth of damage to each segment, end-systolic volume (ESV), ejection fraction (EF), thickness of the interventricular septum (IVS), and thickness of the posterior wall (PS) of the left ventricle (LV), degree of mitral regurgitation (MR) are determined. The degree of damage to each segment is assessed based on the results obtained for the depth of damage to each segment, points are assigned to each obtained value of the degree of damage, in accordance with Table 1, then the points obtained are summed up. Based on the results of echocardiography, prognosis indices A, B and C are calculated using specified formulas. And when the number of points of the degree of damage to segments is 15 or less, as well as when the value of prognosis indices A, B and C is equal to a positive value, the effectiveness of direct revascularization is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows for the selection of patients with the lowest risk of surgical intervention and with the highest prognostic potential for restoration of myocardial contractile function after direct revascularization by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
