FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiac surgery. Patch endoventriculoplasty is performed for left ventricular aneurysms. Aneurysm cavity is exposed and debridement is performed. For plastics, xenopericardium plate 2×5 cm is used, wherein the xenopericardium plate is ovoid. During implantation, the plate is placed with its smooth surface in the left ventricular cavity, and its rough surface – to the wall of the aneurysm and fixed along the edge of the cicatricial zone of the interventricular septum, the anterior wall of the left ventricle with a transition to the apex of the left ventricle with a blanket suture with a monofilament polypropylene suture 5-0. Then two additional blanket sutures with monofilament polypropylene suture 5-0 fix the central part of the patch to the underlying scar tissues. Further, to create a conical shape of the left ventricle, Z-shaped plating sutures are formed in the area of the left ventricular apex with an additional monofilament polypropylene suture 3-0.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the number of postoperative complications in the form of progression of chronic heart failure, LV remodelling, as well as development of thrombotic complications.
