FIELD: removal of contaminants from wastewater.
SUBSTANCE: claim is related to a method of removal of contaminants from wastewater from the industrial production of fertilizers, in particular wastewater from the production of nitrophosphate or other mineral or organomineral fertilizers. The method includes the steps of concentrating the pollutants in the wastewater, chemically converting the pollutants in the wastewater by means of electrolysis, recycling the electrolyzed wastewater into industrial production. As a result of electrolysis, pollutants form a gas. The wastewater concentration step is carried out using a direct osmosis module or a pressurized osmosis module comprising a first compartment and a second compartment separated by a membrane. The step of concentrating the waste water includes the step of directing the waste water to the first compartment of the osmosis module. The recycling step includes directing the electrolyzed waste water to the second compartment of the osmosis module and recycling the waste water from the second compartment of the osmosis module to fertilizer production.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of pollutant removal, increased current utilization factor.
