FIELD: lithium-ion batteries.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce cathode electrode material for lithium-ion batteries used as energy storage devices for portable electronic devices, alternative energy, car engines, power machines. The method for producing dilithium orthophosphate and a transition metal, including the preparation of a transition metal phosphate precursor in the form of cobalt or nickel ammonium phosphate, or cobalt hydrogen phosphate CoHPO4⋅2H2O or nickel hydrogen phosphate NiHPO4⋅2H2O in the reaction medium using a molten mass of lithium nitrate with the addition of technical carbon in the form of acetylene black or citric acid monohydrate in the amount of 1-10 wt.% by weight of the precursor to create an outer conductive layer of the resulting nanocomposite.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the energy intensity of the process and the duration by reducing the duration of synthesis and drying and provides a monodisperse nanocomposite of a narrow granulometric class with a submicron (71-140 nm) particle size and a specific surface area of 11.3-21.8 m2/g.
