FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical instruments intended for use in otolaryngology, and can be used in nasal polypotomy. The nasal stent contains the lower and upper flaps, provided with thickenings forming a tip. Clamps are attached to the back of the flaps. Inside, the flaps are equipped with a thread into which an expander is screwed, made in the form of a hollow cone-shaped tube with an external thread and flexible guides. The flaps are made with the possibility of moving apart to lift the polyps hanging into the cavity of the nasal passage. The clamps are made with the possibility of pressing the flaps to each other. Flexible guides are designed to be inserted between the clamps into the thread of the expander.
EFFECT: device allows to temporarily restore nasal breathing in patients with nasal polyposis with tolerance to vasoconstrictors.
