SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory diagnostics of pathogens of infectious diseases, as well as to the practice of veterinary service. To obtain a reliable diagnosis of the detection of the bovine leukosis virus (BLV) provirus genome in food products and in raw materials for their preparation of animal origin, a method for detecting Bovine leukosis virus (BLV) provirus DNA in food products using the polymerase chain method real-time reactions include isolation of DNA from biological material from infected animals by the sorption method, setting up a one-stage polymerase chain reaction — with simultaneous amplification cycles with detection using positive and negative controls, an internal exogenous control sample in the form of a suspension of T4 bacteriophage with a concentration of 5×103 copies of nucleotide sequences per 1 µl, a positive control sample, which is a mixture of recombinant plasmid DNA containing a fragment of the genome of the bovine leukosis virus (BLV) genome and a fragment of the genome of the bacteriophage T4, specific for the region of the genome of the bovine leukemia provirus (Bovine leukosis virus, BLV) and bacteriophage T4 genome, as well as oligonucleotide primers.
EFFECT: all fragments of the genomes included in the mixture are taken in equal parts, and a fluorescent dye, ROX, is used for endogenous internal control.
