FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes measuring the height of plants in the flowering phase, taking into account the yield of green mass in the phase of milky-wax ripeness and seed. The experience is set up with 5-7 variants of agrochemicals with the recommended average dosage in the phase of 7-8 corn leaves. At the same time, the variant without introduction of agrochemicals is left. According to the data obtained, the average values of the elements of the reaction index are first calculated according to the variants of the experiment with the foliar application of agrochemicals: phv=∑phv/n, gmv=∑gmv/n, gyv=∑gyv/n, where phv, gmv, gyv are average values, respectively, of plant height, green mass yield and grain yield in the experimental variants with foliar application of agrochemicals; ∑phv, ∑gmv, ∑gyv are sums of values, respectively, of plant height, green mass yield and grain yield in the variants of the experiment with foliar application of agrochemicals; n is the number of variants of the experiment with foliar application of agrochemicals. Then, the index of corn response to the foliar application of agrochemicals is calculated according to the formula: PRf=((phv-phc)/phc)x100)+((gmv-gmc)/gmc)x100)+((gyv-gyc)/gyv)x100), where PRf is the index of response to the foliar application of agrochemicals; phc, gmc, gyc are the values of plant height, green mass yield and grain yield, respectively, in the control group (without agrochemicals); phv, gmv, gyv are average values, respectively, of plant height, green mass yield and grain yield in the experimental variants with foliar application of agrochemicals; moreover, the higher is the PRf index, the higher is the response of the corn sample to the foliar application of agrochemicals.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and accuracy of assessing the response of varieties, hybrids, self-pollinated lines or maize source material to the foliar application of agrochemicals, as well as simplified sampling and evaluation procedure.
