SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for selecting cattle with a high level of milk production, Ca and Mg by LRP4 gene polymorphism, including sampling of venous blood in an amount of at least 6 ml from the tail vein of cows on days 30-50 after calving, further DNA isolation from blood with subsequent analysis of multiple single nucleotide polymorphisms by PCR, selection of cows with GA and GG genotypes, characterized by a higher concentration of Ca by 12.9% and Mn by 23.6% in the blood serum according to polymorphism of the LRP4 gene.
EFFECT: invention will make it possible to identify animals with a high level of milk production.
