SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for estimation of the selection level of Aberdeen-Angus productivity indicators, considering application of TG5CT thyroglobulin genetic marker, including improvement of the breeding stock gene pool by selection of cows, considering application of a heredity factor for TG5 gene CT genotype, represented by the formula: where Kct - is the heredity factor for CT genotype CT of 100% level, %; P1 is the live weight of mother cows at the age of 3 years, kg; P2 is the live weight of daughter cows at the age of 3 years, kg; M1 is the milking capacity of mother cows (detachable live weight of calves aged 205 days), kg; M2 is the milking capacity of daughter cows aged 205 days, kg; P is the live weight of Aberdeen Angus cows aged 3 years (elite-record class), kg; M is standard milking capacity of Aberdeen Angus cows at the age of 3 years (detachable live weight of calves aged 205 days), kg; n1 is the number of mother cows with CT genotypes, heads; n2 is the number of daughter cows with CT genotypes, heads; N is the number of cows in the experimental group, heads, at a value of 23% or more a high selection level of productivity indicators is provided.
