FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: methods for improving the efficiency of general mine exhaust ventilation in underground mining. Method for ventilation of underground mine workings includes creating a general mine depression using a fan installation sucking mine air through a ventilation duct associated with a transport and ventilation shaft, and sealing the mouth of the transport and ventilation shaft by placing a lock chamber in it below the level of unloading of lifting vessels. At the same time, a vacuum is created in the lock chamber using an ejection device, due to the gravitational energy of the filling mixture flow, descended from the surface into the mine through a pipeline connected to the lock chamber by a connecting pipeline.
EFFECT: increase in the tightness of the mouth of the mine shaft.
