FIELD: sorbents.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a magnetic affinity sorbent for isolation of recombinant proteins, characterized in that it consists of starch-activated magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles with an average size of 11.5 nm, a saturation magnetization at room temperature of 29.8 emu/g, a blocking temperature close the to room temperature, one gram of which allows isolating 100-590 mg of recombinant MBP-containing hybrid proteins from the lysate of E. coli cells.
EFFECT: increased specific sorption capacity of a magnetic affinity sorbent, which is starch-activated magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles.
