FIELD: biotechnology; genetic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and genetic engineering, specifically to immunobiological agent based on virus-like particles of rotavirus A An immunobiological agent based on rotavirus A virus-like particles is described. The agent contains an adjuvant and rotavirus capsid genes (VP2 and VP6), as well as surface proteins VP4 and VP7 of different rotavirus genotypes, specifically G1, G2, G4, G9, P4, P8, synthesized in baculovirus expression system and assembled into trilaminar virus-like particles (VLPs).
EFFECT: invention provides creation of an agent with high safety (as a protein product) and specific immunogenicity and effectiveness for the prevention of rotavirus infection caused by certain rotavirus A genotypes.
