FIELD: biotechnology; immunology; virology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rotavirus vaccine based on rotavirus virus-like particles. Vaccine contains recombinant virus-like particles (VLP), formed by nucleocapsid proteins VP2, VP6 and surface proteins VP4 and VP7 of 6 genotypes G1, G2, G4, G9, P4, P8 of rotavirus type A, synthesized in a baculovirus expression system—30–120 mcg; potassium dihydrophosphate—0.30 mg; disodium hydrogen phosphate—0.31 mg; sodium chloride—2.01 mg; potassium chloride—0.04 mg; calcium chloride—0.03 mg; tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane—0.04 mg; thiomersal—not more than 4.5 mcg; water-oil adjuvant based on squalene—0.25 ml, water for injections—up to 0.5 ml.
EFFECT: invention provides creating a vaccine which induces specific immunity against an infection caused by human rotavirus A.
