SUBSTANCE: composition of a serum-free nutrient medium for the cultivation of porcine mesenchymal stem cells (svMSC), which includes the basic nutrient medium DMEM/F12 (1:1), is presented. It also additionally contains the following components (mg/l): amino acids: L-Alanine — 4.45, L-Arginine — 73.75, L-Asparagine — 7.50, L-Aspartic acid — 6.65, L-Cystine — 31.29, L-Glutamic acid — 7.35, L-Glutamine — 182.5, L-Cysteine — 8.78, L-Glycine — 9.38, L-Histidine — 15.74, L-Isoleucine — 27.24, L-Leucine — 29.53, L-Lysine HCl — 45.63, L-Methionine — 8.62, L-Phenylalanine — 17.74, L-Proline — 8.63, L-Serine — 13.13, L-Threonine — 26.73, L-Tryptophan — 4.51, L-Tyrosine — 27.90, L-Valine — 26.43; transport proteins: Porcine serum albumin — 1,000–2,000, Transferin — 50–100, Fetuin — 500–1,000; hormones: Hydrocortisone — 0.1–0.5, Progesterone — 0.1–0.5, Insulin — 5–10.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a new composition of a serum-free nutrient medium for cultivating porcine mesenchymal stem cells (svMSCs) while maintaining proliferative activity and differentiation potential.
