SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to a cell composition for transplantation containing a population of human pancreatic cells in vitro, its use for transplantation and for the production of insulin in a subject, as well as a method for reducing transplant rejection of pancreatic endoderm cells in a human and a method for obtaining insulin in an immunocompromised or immunocompromised person. The said cell composition contains a population of human pancreatic cells in vitro containing CHGA^-, NKX6.1⁺, PDX1⁺ pancreatic cell precursor cells, and CHGA⁺ pancreatic endocrine cells, in which the function of at least one gene of the major histocompatibility complex (MCHC) class I and at least one natural killer (NK) cell activating ligand is disrupted or inhibited, resulting in reduced binding of the NK activating ligand to the NK activating receptor in the said human pancreatic cell population in vitro.

EFFECT: obtaining target cells that lack some or all of the classical expression of human leukocyte antigen cells, but are not attacked by NK cells and are not subsequently lysed.
