SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for supplying products in the form of a metal sheet and a device for supplying such sheets to be profiled. The method includes the steps of transporting the first article of the number of articles to the first zone 1a of the feeder 1, moving the first pusher 2 in the first zone 1a to abut against the first article by moving the first pusher 2 in at least a first direction, then the first product is fed from the first zone 1a to the second zone 1b of the supply device 1 in the second direction transversely to the first direction, first with continuous motion and then with intermittent motion. After that, the second product from the number of products is transported to the first zone 1a, the second pusher 3 is moved to abut against the second product in at least one first direction, the second product is fed into the second zone 1b in the second direction, first with continuous movement, and then with periodic movement. While the first product is moving forward from the first zone 1a to the second zone 1b, in the second zone 1b the first pusher 2 is moved away from the first product, while the first pusher 2 is moved in a third direction transverse to the second direction, the first pusher 2 is moved with continuous movement from the second zone 1b to the first zone 1a in a fourth direction parallel and opposite to the second direction, while the second pusher continues to push the second product. The first pusher 2 is again moved in at least one main direction to move the first pusher 2 to abut against the third article of the plurality of articles that has meanwhile been delivered to the first zone 1a. The device 1 for feeding a number of products in the form of a metal sheet comprises a first pusher 2, a first driver 6, a first actuator 8, a second pusher 3, a second driver 7 and a second actuator 9. In this case, at least the first, second, third and fourth directions define a closed trajectory along which the first and second pusher 2 and 3 are able to move.
EFFECT: method and device provide fast and accurate feeding of the product in the form of a thin metal sheet, and also allows you to reduce the time of feeding the product into the pressure shaping device.
