FIELD: ceramics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a compaction machine and an apparatus for making ceramic articles from powder material containing ceramic powder. Compaction machine (2) comprises technologically connected compaction device (3), conveyor unit (5) and feed unit (9). Compaction device (3) is located in the area of workstation (4) and is made with possibility of compaction of powder material (CP) so that a layer of compacted powder (CP) is obtained. Conveyor unit (5) is configured to move the powder material (CP) along the first part (PA) of the predetermined path in the direction of movement (A) from inlet station (6) to work station (4) and a layer of compacted powder (CP) along the second part (PB) of a given path from work station (4) to outlet station (7). Feed unit (9) is configured to feed powder material (CP) into conveyor unit (5) in the area of inlet station (6). Feeding unit (9) comprises first feeder (10) and at least one second feeder (11), which are located above conveyor unit (5). First feed device (10) comprises at least one corresponding first container chamber (12), which is made with possibility to contain powder material (CA) of the first type and has at least one corresponding first outlet hole (13). Second feed device (11) comprises at least one second container chamber (14), which is made with possibility to contain powder material (CB) of the second type and has corresponding second outlet hole (15). First outlet hole (13) has first passage zones (16), which are arranged in series in direction of longitudinal length of first outlet (13). Second outlet hole (15) has the second passage zones (17), which are located in series in the direction of longitudinal extension of the second outlet hole (15). Feeding unit (9) additionally comprises actuator (18), which is configured to direct the powder material (CA; CB) to the outlet through the first and second throughput zones (16, 17) and/or prevent such an outlet and comprises a plurality of actuating units (22). At that, each actuating unit (22) contains corresponding transit moving part (23), which has transfer channel (24) containing at least one inlet (25; 28) and at least one outlet (26) located under inlet (25; 28), and corresponding drive mechanism (27). Drive mechanism (27) is configured to move transit moving part (23) to a first position (FP), in which transfer channel (24) is connected to the first container chamber (12) so that the powder material (CA) of the first type moves from the first container chamber (12) into transfer channel (24), and to at least second position (SP), in which transfer channel (24) is connected to second container chamber (14) so that powder material (CB) of second type moves from second container chamber (14) into transfer channel (24). Second position (SP) is located lower than the first position (FP). Proposed plant comprises compaction machine (2), cutting unit (41) and, at least, one kiln (45). Kiln (45) is located along the specified path downstream relative to printing station (39) of the above installation.

EFFECT: high efficiency of making ceramic articles, possibility of obtaining reproducible and accurate distribution of powders, simple design.
