FIELD: controlling.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to automated means of regulating the process of polycondensation of polyethers of vegetable oils forming alkyd resin oligomers (bases of alkyd varnishes) and can be used in the chemical and varnish and paint industry for various technological processes. Method for automatic regulation of the process of polycondensation of polyethers of vegetable oils is executed using three independent circuits: a circuit for maintaining the temperature of the process within the preset limits; a circuit for maintaining the preset rate of the chemical reaction by removing reaction water from the reaction area; a circuit for monitoring the viscosity of the reaction mass and terminating the polycondensation reaction when the specified preset viscosity of the product is reached. The set for implementation of the method comprises a reactor, a container with a melt of phthalic and maleic anhydrides, a circulation pump, heat exchangers, a vertical and a horizontal condenser refrigerators, a separation container, mixers. The first circuit of the temperature sensor and temperature setter of the reaction mass is connected with the first analysis and control unit, regulators and switches, the first actuating mechanism for opening and closing the bottom valve of the reactor, the second actuating mechanism for opening and closing the valve of the heat exchanger for cooling the high-temperature organic heat carrier. The sets in the second circuit of sensors of the upper and lower levels of orthoxylene in the storage container are connected with the second analysis and control unit, regulators, switches, the starter of the frequency-adjusted drive of the dosing pump for orthoxylene supply. The sets in the third circuit of the viscosity sensor and the viscosity setter of the reaction mass are connected with the third analysis and control unit, the regulator, the switch, the starter including a second actuator, the unit for controlling and heating the high-temperature organic heat carrier, the air cooling fan for the high-temperature organic heat carrier.
EFFECT: group of inventions and such a configuration of automatic regulation of the polycondensation process allows the process to be conducted in the optimal temperature regime of the technological process allowing for an effective course of the polycondensation process, increase in the labour productivity, increase in the output of products with a consistently high quality, preset viscosity, reduction in the specific electricity consumption, termination of the process upon reaching the preset viscosity of the product.
