FIELD: wrapping devices.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a reconfigurable wrapping device to produce a cylindrical wrapped element, a method for reconfiguring a fittings bed in a wrapping device, and a method for manufacturing a cylindrical wrapped element using a wrapping device. A reconfigurable wrapping device is proposed for forming a cylindrical wrapped element by wrapping the core in a material in the form of a web, containing a reconfigurable headset bed having an elongated forming channel to support a conveyor belt, passing along the length of the specified elongated forming channel, made with the possibility of moving material in the form of a web on it. The elongated forming channel has an open long side. Said fittings bed contains a number of components of the fittings bed. In the direction around the surface of the elongated moulding channel, perpendicular to the length of the elongated moulding channel, each component of the fittings bed forms a surface area of the elongated moulding channel. At least one of the components of the fittings bed is movable transversely to the length of the elongated moulding channel. The elongated moulding channel has a central axis running along its length, and the components of the fittings bed are made with the possibility of radial movement relative to the said central axis. Adjacent edges of one or a number of components of the headset bed have a counter-comb configuration and are made with the possibility of increasing or decreasing the degree of mutual overlapping of the teeth during radial movement relative to the central axis.
EFFECT: increase in the operational efficiency of the wrapping device and a reduction in operating costs.
