FIELD: agriculture; rice cultivation technology.
SUBSTANCE: method includes a preliminary analysis of the objects of study related to cultivation of rice, for the content of mobile copper in them, their distribution into three groups: the first group with low content of mobile copper, the second with average content, the third with high content of mobile copper, and identification of an object that needs processing with copper. As an object of study, alluvial meadow soil is used for sowing rice seeds, in which the content of mobile copper is determined. Copper fertilizers are applied in form of an aqueous solution at the rate of 2 kg/ha as the active ingredient. In soil with an average copper content, the rate of applied copper fertilizers is reduced by 2. When using an ammonium acetate buffer solution with a pH of 4.8, they are ranked into three groups with different contents of mobile copper: the first group includes soil with a low content of mobile copper in the amount of 0.18-0.29 mg/kg; the second includes the soil with its average content of 0.30-0.60 mg/kg; the third includes the soil with a high content of mobile copper in the amount of 0.62-0.65 mg/kg. When using hydrochloric acid solution with a concentration of 1 mol/dm3: the first group includes soil with low content of mobile copper in the amount of 3.9-4.4 mg/kg; the second includes the soil with the average content of 4.5-6.5 mg/kg; the third group includes soil with a high content of mobile copper in the amount of 6.7-6.9 mg/kg. Before sowing rice, copper fertilizers are applied to the soil for five years, embedding them with disc harrows in short flooding rice field irrigation mode.
EFFECT: increasing the yield of rice and a reduction in the consumption of copper fertilizers.
