SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. One proposes a method for increasing efficiency of pre-sowing treatment of rice seeds with copper in Krasnodar region conditions, according to which preliminary rice seeds are examined for content of copper in them and they are ranged into three groups with different content of copper. First group includes seeds containing copper less than 3.0 mg/kg, to the second group – 3.0–5.0 mg/kg, to the third group seeds containing copper more than 5.0 mg/kg. At that, if rice seeds refer to the first or second groups, then they are treated with 1.0 % water solution of copper by semi-dry method with consumption of working liquid of 10 liters per 1 ton, and seeds of rice containing copper more than 5.0 mg/kg, without treatment with copper aqueous solution is sown in field.

EFFECT: method ensures increase of rice yield.
