SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Disclosed is a method for preparation of rice seeds for pre-sowing treatment with zinc in conditions of Krasnodar Territory, according to which preliminary rice seeds are examined for content of zinc in them and are ranged into three groups with different content of zinc. First group includes seeds containing zinc less than 20 mg/kg, to the second group - 20-30 mg/kg, to the third group - seeds containing zinc more than 30 mg/kg. If rice seeds refer to the first or second groups, then they are treated with 1.0 % water solution of zinc semi-dry method with flow rate of working liquid of 10 liters per 1 ton.

EFFECT: method ensures increase of rice yield and reduction of consumption of zinc-containing fertilizers.
