FIELD: sheet casting.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions related to a method for casting a sheet from a material containing alkaloids and a casting installation for producing sheets from a material containing alkaloids. The method for casting a sheet of alkaloid-containing material includes producing a suspension of alkaloid-containing material characterized by a viscosity value; storing the suspension in the first reservoir; providing a first flow path and a second flow path for fluid communication between the first reservoir and the injection moulding box, the first flow path comprising a first pump and the second flow path comprising a second pump; directing the slurry along either a first flow path or a second flow path from the first reservoir to the casting box to create a slurry flow along the first flow path or the second flow path based on the viscosity value of the slurry; and casting the slurry to form a sheet of alkaloid-containing material.
EFFECT: possibility to deliver suspensions with different viscosity values to the casting box with an adapted flow rate, as a result, the quality of casting is improved.
