FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail transport and can be used in construction, reconstruction and operation of tram tracks. Tramway track structure with upper coating of large-size slabs contains pit with width of 6.0–8.5 m, with height of 0.6–0.7 m, a layer of construction sand with a thickness of not less than 0.1 m, laid on the bottom of the pit, on top of which a ballast layer with a thickness of not less than 0.15 m is laid, on which there is a rail-and-sleeper grid with elastic intermediate fasteners, which includes pre-stressed reinforced concrete sleepers, sleeper pads, pads, rail pads, elastic fasteners and rails. Reinforced concrete sleeper is made in the form of longitudinal reinforced concrete bar of variable cross-section containing at least 12 reinforcing steel cold-deformed wires arranged in four vertical rows. Said rails are fitted in rail grooves and made up of rubber bar. Reinforced concrete slabs with thickness of 0.17 m or more are laid between the rails.
EFFECT: invention improves the damping properties of the track, which ensures reduction of noise and vibration load and increase of the track reliability as a whole.
