Upon admission, the patient determines the following risk factors: angina pectoris of III–IV functional class, cardiovascular failure of III–IV functional class, cerebrovascular accident with persistent neurological deficit, amputation stump on the collateral side, amputation at the level of the upper third of the thigh, urgency of surgery, hematoma in the early postoperative period, PT, INR, prothrombin test according to Quick. The obtained factors are assigned points, and with a score of 16 and above, a high risk of development is determined, with a score of 13 to 15 — a moderate risk is determined, and with a score of less than 12 — a low risk of developing purulent-necrotic complications of the amputation stump of the thigh is determined.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of predicting the course of the pathological process in the first 24 hours after the operation, which makes it possible to effectively correct postoperative treatment, patients with a high risk of developing purulent-necrotic complications to undergo intensive infusion and antibiotic therapy, and also, if wound exudate appears, radical secondary surgical treatment, due to assessment of the totality of the most significant indicators.
