SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to molecular biological methods for detecting microorganisms and reagents intended for their implementation. A set of reagents for the detection of Streptococcus mutans by isothermal loop amplification is proposed, containing hydroxynaphthol blue (HNB), DNA polymerase, reaction buffer, magnesium sulfate, deoxynucleotide triphosphates, a set of primers, with a molar ratio of internal primers (FIP, BIP, Seq Id No: 13, 14, or 21, 22, or 23, 24), external primers (F3, B3, Seq Id No: 15, 16, or 19, 20, or 25, 26) and direct loop primer (LF, Seq Id No: 54, or 55, or 58) 8:8:1:1:4.
EFFECT: invention allows you to quickly to detect Streptococcus mutans in a saliva sample without sample preparation with a sensitivity of at least 10-4 ng/ml and a specificity of 100%.
