SUBSTANCE: device for treating patients with pectus excavatum consists of a body made in the form of a truncated hollow cone-shaped figure with a rounded base made of soft air-tight elastic material, a transparent cover hermetically inserted into the upper part of the body, and an air pumping system containing a vacuum pump. The air evacuation system includes a needle for evacuating air from the air chambers connected to a vacuum pump. The housing in its lower part adjacent to the patient's body, has a diameter in the range from 90 mm to 260 mm, a wall thickness of 2 to 20 mm, and a maximum height of not more than 70 mm, while the hardness of the material of the housing according to Shore A is from 30 to 50. In the upper part of the housing there is a groove corresponding to the shape of the end face of the transparent cover, into which the transparent cover is hermetically inserted. The body of the device has a channel for a needle with an outer hole on the outer surface of the body, and with an inner hole on the surface of the trough, with a transparent cover inserted into the latter. The lower part of the body, adjacent to the body, has smoothed edges.

EFFECT: invention provides an extension of the functionality of the device while increasing the convenience of its operation and reducing its cost by simplifying the design.
